Who we are


Noesis (Greek: νόησις for "insight") is a word meaning (in philosophical context) "understanding as the ability to sense, or know something, immediately". In other words, the phenomenon of knowing something without having to learn it.


Our Philosophy

We are a group of unreconstructed idealists. We dream of a world where everyone, regardless of their technical predilection, be they nerdy or luddite, can use software to express ideas and put them into action without unnecessary difficulty, jargon or mystery.

In 1996 when we started, this may have sounded deluded and somewhat naïve. Please remember that in 1996 mobile phones were the bulky privilege of the few, Windows 95 was the cutting edge of user friendly technology and Apple was a niche player known mainly to trendy media types. The web was called the information super-highway and email was a novelty.

Much has changed since to prove us right. We now live in a world of smartphones, tablets and high speed broadband. From young children to nonagenarians, humanity is constantly on line. The ability to use computers and computer based devices is taken for granted.

In many ways, business software has somehow been left behind when compared to the elegance and slickness of consumer applications. Our aim is to bring the same level of elegance, clarity and simplicity to our corner of  the business world and allow customer contact professionals to manipulate the software they use at work as easily as the software they use at home.

Whether you want to configure and manage dialler campaigns or design efficient call scripts for your agents, we aim to allow you to do so whatever your technical skills. After all, the important thing is that you understand what the best way to run your business is, not how to run IT systems. The moment you need to rely on technicians to translate your ideas  into action, much will be lost in translation.

It is with these principles in mind that we design and evolve our products. Contact centre software should be "noetic" in the sense that it should bring simplicity and clarity of thought to an industry immersed in convoluted and generally unnecessary complexity.

Whether it is the baffling array of ill-fitting applications which contact centre agents are customarily compelled to remember how and when to use to perform their daily work, or the black art of managing an efficient and effective dialler system, we strive to remove the constraints that hinder the delivery of cost-effective, high quality customer contact activities of all  kinds.

We believe that we can make our customers more profitable. We do so by taking the time to understand their business and use our years of experience to configure the vast range of features within our product range (Synthesys™) to best respond to their challenges and drive out unnecessary complexity from their customer contact activities.

It sounds simple because it is. It is good but it is not too good to be true. Try us. There's nothing we like more than a challenge.

Noetica is a British, privately owned London based software company specialising in the development and delivery of customer contact systems.  Established in February 1997, we take great pride in our products and services and are fanatical about delivering excellence in everything we do.

Following a management buyout in 2010, the company is now fully owned by Danny Singer (Noetica's founder & CEO) and his management team. Noetica has been consistently profitable and growing over the last couple of years despite the general economic climate.
